As much as I love take wedding pictures, I also enjoy doing shorter photoshoots a few months before the wedding. This “prewedding” photo session is meant to make the future bridegrooms more at ease in front of my camera, to offer them pictures that they can use prior to their big day, and ultimately for them to enjoy a great moment.

So far, I am used to conduct prewedding photoshoots in Paris. This one was a 90-minute shoot held at dawn on a bright summer morning. Dimitri and Melanie trusted me in getting up at 4 a.m. to be at the heart of Paris at 5:45 a.m, just before sunrise. This is how I got these pastel soft tones, and make their photo gallery so sweet and romantic.

Melanie and Dimitri are both from Paris, but they met at the beginning of their studies in a completely, remote town. About ten years later, here they are back in the capital, getting married next August in Chateau de Champlatreux. Thanks to wedding planner Melanie from Mel Up Events, I will have to chance to accompany them as a photographer for their big day. I cannot wait to show you more of their love story!
